Battery-operated, single station smoke alarm designed to alert of dangerous smoke and fire. Ionization sensor protects against fast flaming and other types of fires. Powered by either a standard 9 V battery or 3 V lithium battery. Both models offer the Hush feature which temporarily silences nuisance alarms. Test button for regular testing of the unit's electronic circuitry, horn, and battery function. Tamper-resistant locking pin helps deter from theft or tampering. Low battery indicator will chirp in the event of a low battery. Twist-off mounting for fast installation and easy, safe battery replacement. Red LED flashes every 30-40 seconds to indicate that the smoke alarm is receiving power.
