The N-Ferno 6466 Heavy-Duty Winter Work Jacket is built for warm and durable protection in extreme cold. The 500D polyester oxford with breathable water-repellent coating protects from the elements, while 3M™ Thinsulate™ insulation traps heat for enhanced warmth. 1600D reinforcements in heavy wear areas and YKK zippers mean this workwear jacket is built to last.
This winter work jacket features an exterior back document pocket, two lower exterior front pockets, an exterior front cell phone pocket and an interior audio pocket for secure storage. A removable hood, adjustable drawcords and adjustable hook & loop cuffs make for an adjustable fit. 3M™ reflective accents keep workers safe and seen.
CLO RATINGS
Insulation performance is measured by CLO ratings—which is a unit of thermal resistance that indicates insulating ability. The higher the CLO value, the higher the amount of warmth a piece of clothing provides.
To determine temperature ratings, CLO factors, Metabolic Equivalent of Task (MET) and the time or duration of a task are considered. MET levels are categorized into 3 groups:
- “Low” range (0-3 MET) // forklift driver, equipment operator
- “Moderate” range (3-6 MET) // picking & packaging, delivery drivers
- “Vigorous” range (>6 MET) // concrete work, tower climber
Some warehouses and facilities are more manual in nature, leading to higher MET levels, while others rely on automation, resulting in lower MET levels. N-Ferno 6466 Winter Work Jacket has a CLO rating of 1.89 and is rated at a moderate work level in -15°F // -26°C temperatures for up to 5 hours.
Designed for warmth, functionality, durability and comfort, this is the ultimate thermal winter jacket for workers in any industry, from construction to mining.
